Privacy Statement
This is the privacy statement of `B&B MeerZee`. In this statement we explain how we handle the personal data that we obtain in our contact with you. B&B MeerZee complies with the provisions of the AVG {General Data Protection Regulation}.
Collected Personal Data
We do our utmost to protect your data. We need personal data to ensure our service provision towards you is guaranteed. B&B MeerZee processes this personal data because you use our accommodation and/or because you provide it yourself. The data we process are: Name, address, postcode, place of residence, telephone number and e-mail address. Other personal data are not relevant to us. When checking in at our accommodation, we may ask for {the display of} a valid identification document. However, we do not take any data from your identification document over and never make copies of your identification document.
B&B MeerZee processes data for the following purposes: Reserving and invoicing your stay in our accommodation and keeping track of the night register for tourist tax at the request of the municipality.
Security
In our room request/contact form, we use the so-called SSL security system {Secure Socket Layer}. You can see that your data are sent encrypted by looking at the symbol of a key or closed lock in the status bar of your browser. We prefer not to exchange personal data via e-mail. In our confirmation emails, we only use your name unless you yourself request a confirmation with other data included.
We use Google Analytics on our website to be able to analyze the functioning of the site and to measure the yield of traffic sources. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. The information collected by Google is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not included.
Cookies
We use a cookie notification on our website.
Retention period of data and access
After the end of your stay at `B&B MeerZee`, we store the aforementioned data in our administration based on the statutory retention period. We delete data that are no longer necessary. After the statutory retention period, we destroy all data. You have the right to ask us which data we have from you and to request deletion of these data.
Sharing with others
B&B MeerZee only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a statutory obligation.
